Hi, I’m Meredith! I am currently in my last year studying Art Education at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. My favorite things in this world include making art, talking about art, coffee, my husband Colin, and my sweet golden retriever Pluto!

I have been making art for ALL of my life! I spent all of my free time as a kid painting, taking pictures, or making a new collage for my scrapbook in the ‘Art Studio’ in my garage!! I believe that ANYONE can be artsy, and that we all have a creative bone. My current favorite medium is probably photography, but printmaking is a very close second. There is something about the possibility of duplication that is so interesting to my art brain!

My biggest inspiration as an educator has to be my Elementary Art Teacher Mrs. Willenborg. I had the BEST time in her classroom while I was in elementary and junior high, and my experience with her is a huge reason why I am studying to become an Art teacher today!
